Appointments

I am 36 weeks pregnant as of today!
I usually have my checkups done on Tuesdays, and yesterday I had the GBS test done. The GBS test, checks if you have the GBS bacteria that can be passed to baby during labor. This was a quick swab that took a sample from the vagina and now I am waiting for the results. Other than this test, this checkup was quick.
Like any other appointment, I check in, wait to be called by a nurse who then takes my basic vitals like blood pressure, oxygen, and weight. I am then given a cup to pee in. After leaving the pee cup in the designated area, I wait to be called by my midwife. The midwife goes over any important things I need to keep an eye out and I also get to ask her any questions I may have.
For most appointments, they are straightforward. There are some appointments that do take longer since they involve getting an ultrasound or the dreaded 1 hour glucose test.
