Crazy Hormones
I am 38 weeks pregnant as of today!
The photo above shows my belly so far. I feel awful about my body but photos like this reminds me I am carrying a full baby in me and my body is doing its best to support this new life.
I got my labs back and everything looks good so far! I probably don't have cholestasis and it might be my hormones acting out in the last weeks of pregnancy. I went to my regular Tuesday appointment and my belly was measuring well and the heartbeat sounded well. My itchiness is still around but not that intense.
I am also meeting with the doula in person on Saturday! I can't believe Elmhurst Hospital (and I believe Queens Hospital) offers free doula services. I am glad I can take on this service and my husband and I will have extra support during labor and delivery.
